Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Deliver essential physical therapy services within a dynamic hospital setting, working collaboratively to support patient recovery and rehabilitation. As a valued physical therapist, you will help individuals restore mobility, improve strength, and achieve greater independence following illness, injury, or surgery. Your expertise will contribute directly to improving patient outcomes in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active license to practice physical therapy Prior experience delivering hospital-based therapy services preferred Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Capable of managing a diverse caseload with flexibility and compassion Current BLS/CPR certification required
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient conditions, set functional goals, and develop individualized care plans Administer physical therapy treatments, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed Educate patients and families on injury prevention, mobility techniques, and home exercise programs Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other staff to optimize patient care Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Participate in continuing education and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
