Job Description

As a travel therapist based in this inviting region, you'll have the unique chance to enhance your professional expertise while enjoying all that the area offers—from exploring picturesque shorelines to partaking in local community events during your free time. This travel Physical Therapist opportunity is primarily outpatient with some acute care responsibilities. You'll broaden your clinical repertoire as you collaborate with a dynamic team, encounter diverse patient populations, and adapt to varied workflow styles. Here, you'll actively delegate and oversee Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides, gaining valuable leadership skills and expanding your scope of practice. Your contributions will directly support patient-focused activities, utilizing evidence-based assessment, goal-driven interventions, and ongoing evaluation in alignment with the highest standards of the profession.
Key Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with active state licensure Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and care teams Previous experience in both outpatient and acute care settings preferred Organizational and time management strengths; ability to prioritize and handle multiple cases independently Competency in Microsoft Windows and willingness to participate in ongoing technology-related training Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and comply with safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient function via comprehensive assessments (skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular) Develop and adjust treatment plans, implement interventions, and educate patients and families Supervise assistants, facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings, and participate in process improvement Recommend adaptive/supportive equipment and ensure proper documentation for compliance and billing Maintain confidentiality and comply with all affiliate and regulatory standards
