Award-winning hospital partners across the nation Dedicated career specialists to support you every step of the way Immediate and flexible opportunities to create your career journey Tailored career pathway where you can thrive personally and professionally Responsibilities Provides medically prescribed physical therapy services to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary disorders. Performs care in accordance with department protocols, hospital policy, and state and federal regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements. Conduct patient evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Deliver therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities. Document patient progress following regulatory and hospital standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams. Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities. Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.
One year of experience required.2. Certificate/B.S./Masters or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an institution offering training in this specialty plus supervised clinical internship to prepare for professional registration. APTA accredited preferred.3. Maintains the requirements for a valid license as a licensed physical therapist in the State of Michigan.4. BLS (AHA) for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current5. Driver's license and vehicle highly preferred, in which case driver to maintain current required levels of auto insurance coverage (ie: State and employer required). #LI-JO3 Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
