Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Take your physical therapy expertise to the next level by contributing to patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, focusing on rehabilitative services that make a real difference to patients' quality of life.
Key Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment preferred Strong understanding of evidence-based therapy modalities and treatment planning Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, flexible scheduling options may be available to accommodate work-life balance
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions tailored to maximize mobility, function, and independence Accurately document patient progress, outcomes, and recommendations in the medical record Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy professionals to ensure seamless patient care Educate patients and their families on exercises, lifestyle adaptations, and continuing care post-discharge Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
