Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Empower students and help them achieve their physical potential as a contract physical therapist within a supportive school environment near Andover, MN. This rewarding position allows you to collaborate closely with educators and other specialists to deliver high-quality PT services to students in need. Qualifications & Experience:
Valid PT license in the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred Strong communication skills with students, families, and school personnel Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans Creative problem-solver and adaptable to various situations Master's or Doctorate degree in
Physical Therapy Core Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings and assessments as part of the student evaluation process Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to promote the best outcomes Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both group and individual settings Document progress, maintain records, and contribute reports for IEP meetings Educate staff and caregivers on techniques, accommodations, and adaptive equipment This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful difference while growing your professional skills in the dynamic setting of a school community.
