Physical Therapist - School Setting in Anoka, MN BlazerJobs - 3.4 Anoka, MN Job Details Full-time | Contract $41 - $61 an hour 13 days ago Qualifications Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite Physical Therapist supporting students during the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time position provides meaningful maternity leave coverage at a vibrant educational community near Anoka, MN. From September 2, 2026, through December 21, 2027, you'll collaborate with dedicated colleagues to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive academically and physically.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and valid Minnesota Physical Therapy license (must be submitted with application) Previous experience working as a PT in school settings strongly preferred Ability to quickly adapt to variable caseloads and support a range of student needs Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Comfortable covering for a leave and jumping into a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and other service providers to support student goals Assess and document students' needs and progress in accordance with district and state guidelines Develop PT intervention plans and integrate therapies into school routines Flexibly manage and prioritize caseload as assigned Maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to student meetings This role offers the opportunity for licensed PT professionals to make a meaningful difference through hands-on support and collaboration. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, with 37.5 hours per week, making it ideal for those seeking a structured and engaging workweek.
