Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity providing physical therapy support to students for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract assignment offers meaningful work covering a maternity leave for a dedicated onsite PT at a school located near Anoka, MN, starting approximately September 2, 2026, and extending through December 21, 2027. With a Monday through Friday schedule and 37.5 hours per week, you'll help students thrive and achieve their goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Minnesota Physical Therapy license required (attach with your application) Previous physical therapy experience in a school setting is highly preferred Comfort independently managing a school-based caseload (caseload details pending) Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs Willingness to cover for a maternity leave is essential
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students, in alignment with IEP goals Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with special education teams, communicating effectively to support student progress Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by the district and state guidelines Consult and train staff and families on PT strategies and adaptive equipment use Flexibly respond to changing needs within caseload and school routines Your expertise will make a lasting difference in students' school experiences.
