Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist Ridgeview Medical Center United States, Minnesota, Chaska May 19, 2026 Purpose of Job This casual position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of Physical Therapy clients accessing the Rehab Specialties department. When working at Ridgeview the Physical Therapist will provide access, intervention and discharge for all ages within the professional scope of practice as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association. Job Functions Performs evaluations, documents care, and discharges client cases according to RMC and professional standards.
Provides current and quality treatment, utilizing Ridgeview and professional resources to promote continued quality care.
Communicates with the patient, health care providers, insurer and others to ensure that patient needs are addressed.
Exhibits working knowledge of hours of operation, customer base, department operations, visit procedures, and chart audit procedures.
Understands and uses reimbursement and regulatory guidelines for care and environment.
Provides effective supervision of PTAs, ATCs, aides, students and volunteers when physical therapy is provided.
Provides professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience See License/Certification Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to work independently and organize tasks
Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
Ability to exhibit flexibility, self-control and maturity in work and behavior
Ability to promote Rehab Specialties services
Ability to change work locations with or without prior notification in order to meet customer needs
Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
Ability to work autonomously and as a team
Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills License/Certifications Licensed Physical Therapist, valid in Minnesota
CPR Certification Compensation Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity.
