Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students' growth and wellbeing in a school-based physical therapy setting. This role covers maternity leave for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in a vibrant educational community near Elk River, MN. You'll provide vital onsite PT services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and making a difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Minnesota Physical Therapy license (must be attached with your application) Experience providing PT services in school environments strongly preferred Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Comfortable with maternity leave coverage and adapting to changing caseloads Strong communication and organizational skills Flexible, collaborative attitude and commitment to excellence in service delivery
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver onsite physical therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students as assigned Work closely with educators, other service providers, and families to integrate therapy into students' educational experience Document services and progress in accordance with district and state guidelines Adjust intervention strategies as needed based on ongoing assessments and team input Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student support plans Adapt to a pending caseload, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness This contract position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, beginning on or about September 2, 2026, and concluding around December 21, 2027.
