Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Put your expertise to work supporting students with physical therapy services during a vital maternity leave coverage period. In this contract role, you'll be onsite, working closely with school teams to provide high-quality care and ensure students continue to thrive. This position is located near Maple Grove, MN and begins approximately September 2, 2026, running through December 21, 2027. Enjoy regular Monday through Friday hours, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Physical Therapy license required (please submit with your resume for consideration) Experience providing PT services in school settings preferred Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable covering maternity leave for an extended period
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions for a school-based caseload (specific numbers and schools pending) Document student progress, develop goals, and track therapy outcomes in line with IEP/504 plans Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and supports Consult with teachers, families, and staff to integrate therapy strategies throughout the school environment Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based therapy
