JOB DESCRIPTION
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist - Float to join our rehabilitation team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.Position Summary:
This position is for an outpatient Float Physical Therapist in the Park Nicollet system. Primary coverage responsibilities are for the northern regions clinics. Clinics covered include Maple Grove, TRIA Maple Grove, Plymouth, and Carlson., but the float will be asked to cover outside that region based on need. Placements are typically long term to help cover medical leaves or patient access needs at busy sites. Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday (days vary by clinic), 7am-7pm (hours vary by clinic), one closing shift a week. Saturday rotation.Required Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in physical therapyLicensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Licensed with theMinnesota Board of Physical Therapy Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient with communication and data processing equipment. Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise. Proficient in organization electronic medical record software. Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting. Recommend membership in related professional organization.Benefits:
