 $56.54 - $89.24 per hour
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education the Physical Therapist, as a member of the educational team, supports students suspected or diagnosed with a disability in achieving educational goals and encouraging independence in the least restrictive environment by providing screening, evaluation and intervention services.
Qualifications:
Minnesota State Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required. Three years of experience in the direct delivery of school and home-based physical therapy preferred. Must have knowledge of therapy and adaptation of materials expertise; be proficient at assessment and diagnosis; have knowledge of special education principles, demonstrate ethical standards relating to confidentiality rights of students; show evidence of being able to work in school and home-based cultures and environments; an understanding of MN due process requirements; and knowledge of applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
