49 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Are you a passionate Physical Therapist looking for a role where you can truly connect with your patients and enjoy a healthy work-life balance? We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a supportive, energetic, and patient-focused setting. The Physical Therapist (PT) provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $35.66 hourly to $53.49 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity. Upon receiving a licensed independent practitioner referral, implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation utilizing comprehensive compliant and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the patient and their family. Makes appropriate discharge plans by collaborating with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team. Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as mentoring and providing education to students and other professionals. Supports risk management and compliance initiatives through accurate, thorough documentation. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Required:
Education necessary to obtain License in State of Practice Minnesota PT license CPR/BLS (per hospital policy)
Preferred:
1 year physical therapy experience; will consider new grads Pediatric experience Shriners Children's is an EOE/Drug-Free, Smoke-Free Workplace.
