July 1, 2026 Job Overview ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time contract opportunity at Fulton State Hospital in Fulton, Missouri . The selected Physical Therapist will provide physical therapy evaluation, assessment, treatment planning, direct therapy services, monitoring, documentation, and patient education. This position is expected to work up to 24 hours per week , Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM . The selected candidate will be required to attend one day of New Employee Orientation prior to beginning work. Responsibilities The Physical Therapist will provide physical therapy services as directed by the facility. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Performing initial physical therapy evaluations and assessments. Developing treatment plans with goals and objectives to reduce pain, improve function, or address disability. Providing direct physical therapy services focused on posture, locomotion, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, joint mobility, flexibility, cardiopulmonary function, and daily living skills. Providing therapy using appropriate modalities, which may include heat, cold, light, air, water, sound, electricity, massage, mobilization, bronchopulmonary hygiene, exercise, and gait training. Supporting gait training with or without assistive devices. Monitoring and documenting patient/consumer progress after assessment and treatment sessions. Providing physical therapy education and instruction to patients/consumers and family members, as requested. Providing in-service training to facility staff when requested, including training related to locomotion, orthotic devices, prosthetic devices, or assistive devices. Completing documentation according to facility guidelines and professional standards. Requirements Active Physical Therapist license required. Prior experience providing physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and direct therapy services. Ability to work with adults in a healthcare or facility-based setting. Experience with mobility, gait training, balance, strength, endurance, and functional ability interventions. Strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to follow facility policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines. Must be available to work part-time, up to 24 hours per week. Must be available to attend one day of New Employee Orientation before starting. Must provide current resume, license/credentials, and certifications for client submission. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a hospital, behavioral health, rehabilitation, long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting. Experience with adult patients/consumers. Experience with assistive devices, orthotic/prosthetic support, and mobility training. Availability to start on or around July 1, 2026.
