School Physical Therapist | Lees Summit, Missouri Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Lees Summit, MO Job Details Contract 21 hours ago Qualifications Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Strong documentation skills for IEPs and student progress reports Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable adapting to diverse student needs and learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' physical capabilities as related to educational goals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff on student progress Provide direct therapy services, as well as consultative support and training to school staff Maintain timely and accurate records of services and student progress Foster an inclusive and accessible learning environment that supports every child's success In return for your commitment, you'll have the satisfaction of making a direct difference in the lives of children, while building strong professional relationships in a supportive school community.
