Job Type:
Full-Time | averages 40 hours/Week Mon-Fri, 8hrs a day
Compensation:
$55/hr. - $60/hr. (Negotiable) on 1099 About the
Role:
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide professional therapy services for individuals who are injured, ill, or disabled. This role focuses on helping patients develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living through evidence-based therapeutic care.
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide interventions, and support patients in achieving optimal functional abilities. This role requires clinical independence, sound judgment, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, interventions, and therapy planning for acute and long-term care patients. Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans using evidence-based practices. Apply knowledge of adaptive equipment and therapeutic methods to support daily living and self-help skills. Interpret and adapt physician orders and recommendations for therapy interventions. Document patient progress and coordinate care using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Plan, assign, and supervise the work of subordinate therapists and aides as needed. Communicate effectively and timely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Observe and report changes in physical condition, behavior, and emotional response. Escort patients and respond appropriately to health care needs.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (required). Knowledge of current principles, procedures, techniques, and instrumentation for evaluating and treating patients. Ability to independently direct screenings, assessments, treatment interventions, and program planning. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Experience with EHR systems, long-term care, and ICF guidelines preferred.
Pay:
$55.00 - $60.00 per hour Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have providing physical therapy services in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings? Do you have experience supervising or mentoring other therapists or therapy aides? Are you comfortable working independently while also collaborating with an interdisciplinary team? Are you familiar with ICF (Intermediate Care Facility) guidelines or similar regulatory standards? Are you proficient in developing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans using evidence-based practices?
