1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience for a 13-week travel contract in Missouri. Details Home health setting covering 13 counties in the surrounding region, with staff rotating weekly into more distant service areas Counties served include Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Harrison, Holt, Platte, and Worth Schedule is 5x8-hour days (8:00-16:30), with the option for 4x10-hour shifts if preferred On-call required one Sunday every five weeks Every fifth week, the therapist works Saturday and Sunday for admissions and takes two weekday days off Patient volume adjusts on high-mileage days to account for significant travel time between visits Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required DPT required Current MO state PT license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required Must be comfortable with frequent driving across a large multi-county service area Two professional references required for consideration PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include patient evaluations, admissions, and ongoing treatment across a wide geographic territory Staff rotate on a weekly basis to cover more distant counties within the service area Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates Dress code: solid black, grey, or khaki pants with a polo or scrub top — no printed scrubs
