Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity awaits for a dedicated Physical Therapist to support student growth and achievement in a school setting for the 2025-2026 academic year. You'll work full-time at 36 hours per week (7 hours per day), helping students reach their physical and educational goals. With a caseload of 30-60 students weekly, based on individual needs, your expertise will play a pivotal role in fostering students' independence and participation throughout the school day. What you'll bring: Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant state credentials Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to set and assess measurable goals Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to manage varying caseloads Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional growth Your primary responsibilities: Provide direct Physical Therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Develop individualized goals and participate actively in IEP meetings Conduct evaluations and deliver quarterly progress reports on student goals Create and maintain therapy schedules that maximize student access and benefit Consult with teachers and staff to ensure a team-oriented approach to support Adapt interventions to meet the needs and abilities of each student This contract runs from start date through May 22, 2026, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and work alongside passionate educators and school professionals.
