Job Description
Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school settings, located in Oxford, MS. This role focuses on supporting students' physical development and rehabilitation within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate physical therapy goals into students' educational programs. Assist students in improving mobility, strength, and coordination to promote independence and participation in school activities. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student support.Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist with experience working in school-based settings. Familiarity with pediatric physical therapy techniques and educational therapy integration. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with school staff and families. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently. Commitment to supporting the developmental and educational needs of students.Location:
