Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Empower student growth by bringing your expertise in physical therapy to a supportive school setting on a contract basis. This dynamic opportunity invites a passionate PT to make a lasting difference, working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support children's physical development and well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current valid license or certification as a Physical Therapist Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong knowledge of IEPs and goal-driven therapeutic interventions Excellent communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt to diverse student needs Familiarity with relevant assessments, documentation, and compliance standards
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' physical abilities and develop targeted intervention plans Deliver direct PT services according to individualized education programs (IEPs) Document sessions, progress, and outcomes clearly per school and state requirements Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities as needed Provide training and support for staff and families on physical development strategies and equipment use Contribute to IEP meetings and support holistic student success in academic and physical domains
