Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing high-quality physical therapy services in a school environment near Chapel Hill, NC. This part-time, in-person role runs from August 5 through May 28, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact throughout the academic year. Work with a small, manageable caseload of 7 students across K-12 settings, supporting their development and success with personalized interventions.
Qualifications/Experience:
Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in North Carolina Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable Capability to design and implement effective therapy plans for a variety of disabilities Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Adaptability and commitment to in-person service delivery throughout the contract
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions in diverse classroom settings Evaluate students' motor skills and develop tailored treatment goals Document progress and communicate regularly with students' educational teams Offer guidance and training to teachers and support personnel on facilitating student participation Support students in achieving their educational and functional objectives Maintain compliance with school policies and state/federal regulations Perks of this
