Sun-Sat, 08:00 AM-04:30 PM (36 hours/week)
Rate:
Travel $2,308/36 hrs; Local $2,275/36 hrs Requirements Valid, active Physical Therapy state license. Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED). Key responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to determine patient needs. Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable rehabilitation goals. Create and deliver exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination. Provide hands-on interventions (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, manual stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain. Apply therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as indicated. Instruct patients in the safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs). Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention. Implement and adjust pain management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques. Support patients' return to independence after surgery, injury, or illness. Monitor and document patient progress; revise treatment plans as needed. Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members. Provide personalized home exercise programs and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate patient records (assessments, treatments, progress notes, status changes). Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent. Deliver culturally sensitive care responsive to diverse patient needs. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
