Responsibilities As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at FirstHealth of the Carolinas, you will:Evaluate, Develop, and Implement Treatment Plans :
Create individualized plans for patients with orthopedic issues and those experiencing generalized weakness or balance problems.Provide Hands-On Therapy :
Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions using a variety of techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.Document Patient Progress :
Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Collaborate withHealthcare Providers :
Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes. Work with aMultidisciplinary Team :
Join a large team of experienced Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs).Educate Patients and Families :
Provide education on conditions, rehabilitation, and the importance of ongoing self-care. Maintain aSafe Environment :
Ensure a supportive and safe environment for both patients and staff. Engage inProfessional Development :
Participate in workshops, conferences, and team meetings to stay current with best practices and continue your professional growth.Pursue Continuing Education :
Show interest in continuing education to develop specialty programs and contribute to program development.Mentor Clinical Students :
Take on the mentorship of clinical students to help shape the future of the profession. Qualifications To join our team at FirstHealth of the Carolinas, you should have:Educational Background :
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.Licensure :
A current Physical Therapist license in North Carolina.Certification :
CPR/BLS certification is required.Preferred Training:
