Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives as an on-site Physical Therapist supporting a local district near Winston-Salem, NC. Your expertise will help foster student mobility, participation, and independence throughout the school community. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated team of educators and fellow specialists during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold an active Physical Therapy license in North Carolina (documentation necessary) Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings highly valued Proficient in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student care plans Hands-on familiarity with ECATS and Infinite Campus is a plus Ready and willing to provide on-site services (remote work is not available)
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring physical therapy in a school environment Implement evidence-based interventions to support students in reaching their educational and functional goals Collaborate with teachers, families, support staff, and other therapists for holistic student support Maintain thorough records and progress documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Utilize ECATS and Infinite Campus systems in daily workflow Engage proactively in team meetings and IEP processes This assignment spans from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027.
