1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week acute care travel assignment covering outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled settings, with no weekend or holiday requirements. Details Work setting covers outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled nursing care Average patient load of 8 patients per day Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7am-5pm (10-hour shifts) No weekend or holiday coverage required MatrixCare (Matrix) is the EMR used in this position 13-week assignment with 12 hours of orientation provided Requirements Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates willing to train will be considered Active PT license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted Current BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted Physical therapy degree required A driver's license is required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Responsibilities span evaluation and treatment across outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled nursing settings No PTAs or rehab aides on staff Department-specific orientation is provided Professional casual attire is the dress code Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
