Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic educational setting near Salem, NH. This contract role is designed for the 2026-2027 school year, offering 32-35 hours per week and the chance to make a lasting impact through your clinical expertise and dedication to student growth. Your background in providing PT and SLP services within school environments will be vital as you collaborate with education professionals, families, and other specialists. Leverage your knowledge of communication disorders and intervention strategies to help students reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience delivering SLP or PT services in school-based settings strongly preferred Proficiency with IEP processes and effective documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for helping students develop essential communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual settings Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate, timely documentation per school and regulatory requirements Track student progress, adapt interventions, and communicate updates to all stakeholders Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
