$2,347 / 36 hrs Required Credentials Active, valid Physical Therapy state license Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (with AED) Core Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to determine patient needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals. Create and supervise customized therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination. Provide manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain. Apply physical modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate. Instruct and train patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs). Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention. Design and adjust pain management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques. Facilitate functional recovery and independence following surgery, injury, or illness. Monitor, document, and update patient progress and revise treatment plans as needed. Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members. Provide individualized home exercise programs and discharge recommendations. Maintain accurate clinical documentation of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and condition changes. Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards and obtain informed consent. Deliver culturally sensitive care and respond to diverse patient needs. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
