Job Overview:
Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients in the acute care setting, patient and family intervention in all nursing units including, but not limited to orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, cardiac, critical care, trauma, general medicine and telemetry, emergency department, and ICU.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or doctorate in physical therapy from an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy. Licensed in the State of New Jersey. Successful completion of all
Orientation Programs Preferred Preferred:
Masters Certifications and Licenses required: BLS Certification Required American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):
Per Diem Day Essential Functions:
Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills are required for intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication. Examines and evaluates patients upon referral from a physician, podiatrist, dentist, or nurse practitioner. Plans and implements specific treatment for patients to reverse impairments, restore function, and facilitate the development of skills essential for adaptive and productive living. Participates in PI and physical therapy clinical education programs.
