Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with physical therapy services during the summer session. Leverage your expertise in the school setting and help empower children to reach their fullest potential—all within a manageable, part-time schedule. This assignment runs from July 7 to August 10, offering you steady hours without a Friday commitment. Work onsite Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, totaling just 8 hours per week. Make a meaningful impact on student development while maintaining excellent work-life balance over the summer.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Prior experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy is strongly preferred Ability to assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans Strong communication skills for collaborating with faculty, staff, and families Passion for working in educational environments and supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to students' individual needs and IEP goals Evaluate and monitor students' progress, adjusting plans as needed Consult with educators and support staff to integrate therapy recommendations into classroom routines Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Provide feedback to families regarding progress and strategies to encourage continued improvement
