Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, contract-based physical therapy role supporting students across a diverse district. This full-time opportunity spans multiple schools and runs from September 4, 2026, to June 25, 2027. You'll work 35 hours each week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., providing essential PT services to K-12 students. Desired Qualifications:
Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license required Experience in school-based or pediatric PT settings preferred Ability to complete state and district compliance requirements, including TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting Skilled at engaging students of all ages and adapting strategies for multiple school environments Strong communication and organizational abilities Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy assessments and intervention to K-12 students across multiple school sites Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize therapy outcomes Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district standards Travel between schools within the district, managing a caseload that spans a range of ages and abilities Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to educational teams Experience a rewarding contract position where every day brings new opportunities to support student achievement.
