Join our welcoming multidisciplinary team of one pelvic health physical therapist and two mental health therapists as we continue growing our women's health practice. As a pelvic health PT, you'll support women experiencing: Pelvic pain Urinary and bowel dysfunction Sexual dysfunction Pregnancy and postpartum concerns We work closely with women throughout pregnancy to address issues such as low back pain, sciatica, SI joint dysfunction, and pelvic pain. Care also includes preparing clients for labor and delivery. Postpartum, we help women recover from common concerns including bladder leakage, prolapse, perineal tearing, pain with intercourse, c-section scar mobility, abdominal separation, and safe return to exercise and daily activities. Our approach combines manual therapy, internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment, therapeutic exercise, and education. We believe in comprehensive, individualized care that addresses the whole person rather than focusing on a single symptom at a time. All sessions are one-on-one and 60 minutes long, allowing time for thorough evaluations, hands-on treatment, education, and meaningful connection with clients. Requirements DPT degree New Jersey Physical Therapy license Experience in pelvic health Compassionate, trauma-informed approach to patient care Preferred Qualifications Herman & Wallace, APTA, or equivalent pelvic health coursework/certifications Experience with prenatal and postpartum populations Experience performing internal pelvic floor examinations About Powerful Women's Health Powerful Women's Health is a private pelvic floor physical therapy and mental health practice located in Red Bank, NJ. We help women find lasting relief from pelvic pain, urinary and bowel concerns, sexual dysfunction, fertility and postpartum challenges, as well as emotional struggles related to stress, anxiety, relationships, trauma, and more. Our mission is to help women feel stronger, more comfortable, and more confident in both their bodies and emotional well-being. We take a whole-person approach that values the deep connection between physical and mental health. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a physical therapist who values highly individualized care. Our office includes two treatment rooms and a small shared waiting area, with one dedicated PT treatment space equipped for both manual therapy and movement-based treatment. Typically, one or two practitioners are providing care at a time. Treatment sessions may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education based on each clinician's style and each client's needs. Every session is private, one-on-one, and one hour in length. Our PT and LCSW team collaborates regularly, integrating both physical and mental health perspectives to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care. We approach each client through a whole-person lens, recognizing how stress, trauma, and emotional health can influence physical symptoms and healing.
