Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment this summer and use your expertise in physical therapy to support students' growth and development. This contract opportunity runs from July 7 to August 10, with a convenient Monday-Thursday schedule from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Fridays off!). You'll work a total of 8 hours per week, offering focused, individualized care to help students thrive in a school-based setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist with prior experience in schools or pediatric settings Strong understanding of PT interventions for school-age children Ability to develop, implement, and adapt treatment plans to meet diverse student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Organized and reliable, able to manage schedules and document progress effectively Flexible and eager to work in a team-focused educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging physical therapy sessions to support students' educational and physical goals Assess, monitor, and document students' progress in collaboration with other school professionals Provide guidance and strategies for teachers and family members to reinforce PT techniques Participate in IEP meetings, when necessary, to discuss student outcomes and set future goals Foster an encouraging, inclusive atmosphere that promotes participation and confidence among all students This assignment offers a unique chance to make a difference during the summer, without long weekly hours.
