Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapist to provide specialized care to individuals with disabilities. This role focuses on improving mobility, independence, and overall quality of life through individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans. Schedule & Flexibility Part-time, flexible scheduling Sessions range from 30 minutes to 1 hour Services typically provided 1-2 times per week per individual Frequency is based on individual needs and authorized budgets Key Responsibilities Assess individuals' physical abilities and develop personalized therapy plans Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility Collaborate with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary team members Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed Educate individuals and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies for continued progress Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Work Environment Services are provided in community-based settings, including group homes, day programs, and private residences.
