Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active state Physical Therapist license (sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy) Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued, though not required Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with teachers, staff, and families Passion for supporting children of varying ability levels in a diverse and dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to students, including assessments, individualized treatment planning, and implementation Collaborate with educators and support personnel to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and related reports in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere to encourage student participation and maximize each child's potential Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
