Job Description

Physical Therapist
  • Outpatient Las Cruces, NM $60
  • $80 an hour
  • Part-time, Full-time $60
  • $80 an hour
Part-time, Full-time Position:
Physical therapist Reports to: Lead Motor Therapist/Supervising Therapist Summary of duties: The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats children ages three to 18 years in a clinical setting. The therapist through the evaluation process implements appropriate treatment plans.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in physical therapy from an accredited college/university or
  • Doctor of physical therapy from an accredited college/university
  • Current New Mexico Physical Therapist license or ability to be licensed by the state of New Mexico
  • Ability to pass background/drug testing Sample job tasks:
  • Physical therapy evalution and assessment
  • Treatment planning
  • Direct and indirect physical therapy treatment Staff training and development Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supervision PT/PTA fieldwork supervision Support Marketing activities
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:
  • Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
  • Requires stooping, bending, and reaching.
  • Must work in noisy and crowded environments. Record keeping and paperwork Complete daily treatment notes The physical therapist will provide regular progress reports in a timely manner The physical therapist will complete evaluation/discharge reports in a timely manner Complete and turn in billing daily Complete employee payroll paperwork requirements in a timely manner Meetings
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Attend collaborative meetings
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
