Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist — Outpatient Hospital | Santa Fe, NM Join a hospital outpatient therapy team in Santa Fe, NM as a Physical Therapist. Provide evaluations, plan of care development, and skilled therapeutic interventions to patients with neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory conditions. Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Supervise PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants and maintain required documentation and productivity standards. Minimum Qualifications Doctorate, Master's, Bachelor's, or Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred, including assessment/evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic modalities (therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, soft tissue mobilization, ultrasound, electrical stimulation). Demonstrated skills in documentation, time management, and patient/family education. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants. Familiarity with outpatient scheduling and home exercise program development. Prior experience in a hospital outpatient setting preferred.

Assignment Details Shift hours:

10:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Schedule:

Five days per week, eight hours per day.

Impacting Patient Care Provide patient-centered physical therapy services that restore function, manage pain, and promote mobility. Implement and monitor individualized plans of care, administer appropriate modalities, and coordinate with referring physicians regarding patient progress. Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, treatments, and discharge summaries. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
