Custom Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy practice with four locations treating various physical conditions across Reno and Sparks. Our number one priority is our patients. We provide personalized treatment with hands-on, compassionate care. We perform comprehensive evaluations and encourage patient input for treatment planning and goal setting. Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesAssesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
Review the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
Holds responsibility for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
Completes a written plan of care, develops goals based on evaluation findings, and develops a comprehensive program to attain goals.
Implements physical therapy treatment program and provides essential physical therapy treatments.
Communicates effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
QualificationsGraduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculumOne or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferredCurrently registered and licensed in the state of Nevada and CPR certifiedOutgoing and energetic personalityExperience in exercise and manual-based skills, McKenzie skilled, and sports rehabilitationNew graduates are welcome to applyAdditional InformationWhat you'll getProductivity bonus: up to $9,000.00 annuallySign on and or Relocation assistance of $5K plusEligible for student loan repayment assistanceContinuing educationEmployee discount plansEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Multiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadershipClinical mentorshipFamily-friendly work environmentInvestment from a company that wants you to succeed and thrive This position's anticipated base salary range is $85,000•$100,000. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
