Job Description

Massapequa Center Rehabilitation & Nursing is committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking an enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Amityville ! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide rehabilitation services and complete Evaluations/Screens. Develop and improve the skills needed for the daily functioning of residents. Accurately completes and documents all treatment procedures and functional mobility tasks in a timely manner. Provide education on selected treatment procedures and functional activities to patients, their families, and other healthcare providers. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program Hold licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York We believe that our employees are the foundation to providing optimal patient care, we equip them with the support and tools to excel.
