Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals of all ages and backgrounds.Duties:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and physical abilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
- Post-baccalaureate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans as needed
