Physical Therapist (part-time) - Glen Cove

Job Overview Tiegerman Preschool and Elementary School in Glen Cove is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist forthree days a week. Physical Therapists report directly to the Coordinator of Therapeutic Services. The Physical Therapist must be licensed. Responsibilities Maintain and review student records Evaluate student progress and prepare reports that display their progress Assess students' physical abilities Plan, organize and conduct PT sessions with students Restore, maintain, and promote quality of life as it relates to movement and health Meet with parents and teachers to communicate information pertaining to the students' IEP. Prevent symptoms and the progression of symptoms of physical dysfunction and disability Meet students' goals and needs Recommend changes in environment that could assist students with their needs and capabilities Make recommendations and referrals as needed Research resources and treatment methods for the students Maintain professional training by attending workshops All other duties as assigned Tiegerman is
