Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:
Current license as a Physical Therapist At least one year of experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy (preferred) Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with students, teachers, and families Adept at working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage caseloads and adapt interventions for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' motor abilities and develop individualized physical therapy plans Deliver direct therapy sessions tailored to each student's goals and educational requirements Work alongside special education teams to integrate PT interventions within school routines Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress, treatment, and updates for IEP meetings Educate school staff and families on exercises, adaptive equipment, and classroom modifications Foster a supportive, safe, and motivating environment that encourages student participation and achievement You'll work in a dynamic and collaborative school setting, gaining valuable experience and insight while making a measurable difference in students' lives.
