Per HR Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist specializing in school settings for a contract position in the Yonkers, NY area. This role requires providing therapeutic services to children in compliance with their Individualized Education Program (IEP) documents. The position is onsite with weekday shifts. Requirements Experience working with children in educational settings. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Strong assessment and evaluation skills. Proficient in maintaining accurate records and documentation. Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment. Commitment to professional development and best practices. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State. Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy. Familiarity with IEP and IFSP processes. Experience in fabricating orthotic appliances. Ability to serve as a clinical instructor for students.
