Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) Hospital-based or outpatient therapy experience preferred Competency with comprehensive patient evaluations and treatment planning Excellent communication skills; ability to educate patients, families, and colleagues Adherence to professional codes of conduct and state/federal guidelines Commitment to continuing education and personal professional development Knowledge of patient and employee safety standards in clinical environments
Key Responsibilities:
Assess assigned patients, implement and modify tailored therapy plans Design functional programs for patients' rehabilitation and community reintegration Delegate and direct therapy support staff appropriately Educate and support patients, families, clinical staff, and students Complete timely, detailed documentation for care, compliance, and insurance purposes Champion patient safety, adhering to infection control, safe patient handling, and work environment protocols Participate in quality improvement initiatives and actively pursue professional growth opportunities
