This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient's progress. Performs physical therapy treatment on a one-to-one for patients with orthopedic, neurological and work related impairments. Access to Medication Room is required to perform the assigned job function. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching. The PT will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

Education :

Degree in physical therapy from an accredited PT program.

Licensure :

Current physical therapy license in State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal.

Certification :

BLS certification within 30 days of hire

Experience :

May be a recent graduate with a generalist background. Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.

Skills/Other :

Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing age specific care. Possesses team-focused attributes. Works scheduled hours as assigned.
