Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract To Hire Make an immediate impact in a supportive educational environment by providing essential physical therapy services to K-12 students for the entire 2026-2027 academic year. This contract-to-hire, part-time role is perfect for versatile Physical Therapists who are passionate about helping young learners thrive. Your expertise will empower students to achieve their goals and facilitate inclusive participation in the school community.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist School-based PT experience is an advantage, but not required Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively Enthusiasm for supporting students' functional and educational success
Core Responsibilities:
Assess student needs and design individualized physical therapy interventions Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to help students access their educational curriculum Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students' abilities, focusing on motor skills, mobility, and physical independence Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district protocols Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations as part of the student support team Adapt approaches to accommodate a diverse range of student needs while fostering a positive and respectful environment This opportunity allows you to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference throughout the school year.
