Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring and enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. In this engaging position, you will assess individual needs, develop personalized care plans, and implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to promote recovery across diverse settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care. Your expertise will empower patients of all ages—pediatrics to geriatrics—to regain independence and improve their quality of life through compassionate, skilled care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine functional limitations and develop tailored treatment plans. Implement a variety of physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions between inpatient, outpatient, or home & community care settings. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and care plans using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Stay current with advances in physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology to deliver high-quality care. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice. Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health services, or community care environments. Expertise in discharge planning and creating effective care plans for diverse patient populations. Skilled in pediatric and geriatric care with a focus on patient-centered approaches. Proficiency in EMR systems for documentation and communication within healthcare teams. Experience with acute care protocols and hospital procedures to support rapid recovery efforts. Ability to apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics-focused treatments effectively. Pay:
