Position Summary:
Provide rehabilitative treatment and care to appropriate patients through complete and careful evaluation and assessment of patients and developing individualized treatment goals and plan of care. Maintain necessary documentation.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Demonstrates the ability to evaluate patients and establish an appropriate plan of care, adapting the plan of care to patient/caregiver needs and goals. Implements patient care in a knowledgeable and skillful manner, maintaining a high quality of work performance in all areas. Demonstrates the ability to provide the proper assistance, verbal cueing, etc. necessary for optimal performance. Demonstrates the ability to instruct patients and/or caregivers in treatment procedures, home programs, orthotics/prosthetics and special equipment using clear verbal and/or written instructions. Demonstrates knowledge and or experience in outpatient therapy and sport injuries.
