Job Description
Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide essential care within a dynamic hospital physical therapy department. This is a contract opportunity designed for a highly motivated clinician who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The role will support both inpatient and outpatient settings, offering valuable rehabilitation care to patients with neurological or orthopedic conditions, and occasionally assist in wound care management.
Schedule:
Day shifts: 5 days/week, 8 hours per shift Weekly guaranteed 36 hoursRequired Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a hospital setting Experience treating both inpatient and outpatient populations Proficiency in working with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses, including wound care Comfortable using EPIC electronic medical record system Ability to act independently, make sound clinical decisions, and collaborate with physicians and laboratory staff Dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based carePreferred Qualities:
Excellent critical thinking skills and clinical judgment Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environmentResponsibilities:
Evaluate and manage treatment plans for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or medical events Provide high-quality physical therapy interventions to inpatients and outpatients Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR (EPIC) Foster a supportive and educational atmosphere for patients and their families This opportunity is a chance to make a direct impact on patient outcomes and clinical excellence.
