Physical Therapist (PT) - Inpatient Hospital (Expansion into Outpatient)

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our hospital-based rehabilitation team in Oklahoma. This role primarily serves inpatient hospital patients, with plans to expand into outpatient services in the near future. Leadership opportunities are available for those interested in career growth. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy treatment programs for inpatient hospital patients, including post-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and medically complex cases. Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional mobility training, and modalities to support patient recovery. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as appropriate, and maintain accurate documentation according to hospital and state requirements. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in the development and expansion of outpatient services as the hospital program grows. Opportunities to lead and mentor staff, participate in program development, and assume leadership roles within the therapy department. Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and departmental goals. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) Active Oklahoma PT license or eligibility for licensure. Completion of the NPTE (National Physical Therapy Examination). CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain. Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Interest in hospital-based inpatient care with a willingness to assist in outpatient program development. Leadership experience or interest preferred but not required.
