1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with LTC or SNF experience for a 13-week travel contract in Purcell, OK. Details Long-term care (LTC) setting Day shift, 8 hours per day 35 hours per week No weekend or on-call requirements Requirements Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; new graduates with Level II clinical experience will be considered LTC or SNF setting experience required Active Oklahoma PT state license required (license required if applicable) 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and treating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs, and developing individualized plans of care Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation training, assistive device fitting, and wound care as part of rehabilitation plans Documents all clinical and regulatory information in the electronic documentation system and accurately records treatment minutes Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students Adherence to APTA standards and Oklahoma state practice acts is expected No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
